My Japanese brother in law introduced us to Cataan. I love that game. It's complex enough the nerdy adults get into it but the visual/ cards/ board etc are easily understood by younger kids. It's a great family game and is fun for a bunch of guys drinking beer, hard to find that combo. If anyone has the instructions in English you could pass them my way cause everytime I bring my copy to game night people won't play, complaining that they can't read Japanese, I tell them that it's part of teh game but they just won't go for it, hmmm.
I really need to play it! I want to. Eric has been on me to play it w/ him for months now but we haven't found the time to sit down and play. He has the English version...I bet you could print out a copy of the English rules from the internet, but I wouldn't want to ruin your fun :)
